Wood Class

All Woods have 3 berths (*with an optional 1 extra person). Our Wood class Yachts were described in Blakes 1937 brochure as ‘sloop-rigged, carvelbuilt, fast and comfortable - a delightful boat to sail single-handed’, with 3 berths in two separate cabins. The berth in the fore cabin extends into the forepeak. Berths have fitted mattresses with large built-in drawers underneath giving ample storage. The cabin tops lift giving more headroom when moored. Equipment and necessary utensils are provided.
Some sailing experience is required for this craft.

5 yachts are available: Wood Sorrel – 1933, Wood Violet – 1934, Wood Rose – 1934 Wood Anemone – 1947 and Wood Avens – 1949.
